Students in the Southeast Delco School District Gifted Program recently explored history in action with a visit to @constitutionctr in Philadelphia. The experience gave students an opportunity to deepen their understanding of civics and citizenship! 🇺🇸

We are proud to spotlight Southeast Delco graduate Angel Young from the APHS Class of 2004! ✨

While attending our schools, Angel spent time assisting the APHS vice principal’s secretary, gaining valuable experience that helped shape her professional goals.

After several years in retail, Angel transitioned into administrative roles, including work in a pediatric healthcare office, where supporting families and healthcare professionals reinforced her passion for helping others. This experience inspired her to further her education and focus on the healthcare field.

In May 2024, Angel earned an associate degree from Delaware County Community College and is currently pursuing a medical coding and billing certification through Penn Foster. Her journey reflects resilience, growth, and a commitment to lifelong learning! 🎓

Reminder: There will be no school February 12-13 for staff professional development. All students and staff are also off Monday, February 16.

The next regular day of school will be Tuesday, February 17.

The Southeast Delco School District is hosting a Support Staff Job Fair on Tuesday, February 17, from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. 💼

Full-time and part-time positions are available. Interviews will be conducted on site, so please come prepared with your resume.

The event will take place at the Educational Services Center located at 1560 Delmar Drive, Folcroft, PA. If you have any questions, please contact HR Specialist Megan Giunta via email at mgiunta@sedelco.org.

REMINDER: All Southeast Delco students will have an early dismissal on Thursday, February 5, and Friday, February 6. ⏰

✅ High school students will be dismissed at 11:00am
✅ Grades 1-8 will dismiss at 12:45pm
✅ Kindergarten Center will dismiss at 12:45pm
